Sarah Gallant

Sarah is an ASHA-certified speech-language pathologist and orofacial myology specialist. With a background in dysphagia and cognitive-communication therapy, she previously served as the lead speech pathologist in the neuromuscular division at the University of Utah. Sarah’s advanced training in orofacial myology led her to open a private practice focused on treating individuals with myofunctional and articulation disorders. She is passionate about providing the most up-to-date interventions for all of her patients and is a member of the Dysphagia Research Society and International Association of Orofacial Myology. Sarah’s research on the relationship between voice and respiratory function was presented at the 2022 Neuromuscular Study Group in Stresa, Italy.

Sarah is also the former chair of the University of Utah College of Health Alumni Board and has been a mentor for college students since 2017. She is a barre instructor and has a passion for bringing ballet foundations to posture and breath support into her speech therapy practice.
