Ryan is a board-certified neurological clinical specialist in physical therapy, with a focus on early concussion intervention and treatment, as well as brain injury, vestibular impairment, and autonomic nervous system disorders. As a physical therapist at Metrodora Institute’s Center of Health Creation, Ryan partners with patients to identify factors limiting their participation in daily activities. Previously, Ryan was a physical therapist at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago (now Shirley Ryan AbilityLab), the University of Utah, and the Kutcher Clinic for Sports Neurology.

Outside of clinical practice, Ryan is working towards his PhD in Rehabilitation Science with a focus on post-concussion autonomic nervous system dysfunction and hopes to facilitate research at Metrodora Institute leveraging outcomes-based phenotyping to administer accurately targeted therapies for patients.
