Alexandra Cayias, MS

Speech-Language Pathologist

Alexandra is an ASHA-certified speech-language pathologist with advanced training in facial rehabilitation for individuals experiencing peripheral facial nerve injury, including Bell’s Palsy. She specializes in cognitive-communication, executive function, dysphagia and speech and language therapy. A dedicated patient advocate, she is passionate about collaborating with the Metrodora Insititute care team and individuals experiencing complex disorders on creative therapy that optimizes meaningful life participation.

Alexandra has enjoyed connecting with her community through running support groups, teaching graduate students and presenting on topics related to cognitive-communication, executive function and evidence based-treatment of peripheral facial nerve injuries. She has also served as the Chair of the Conference Planning Committee for the Brain Injury Alliance of Utah and is a recipient of their Special Recognition Award.
